It is really hard to choose a preferred destination from what I’ve seen since now, as every place has its own distinctive charm, some secret to show you. When you think you have seen them all and nothing could impress you anymore, you discover another culture, another museum or another destination that leaves you with unforgettable memories.
It is so different, as I could state a few characteristics of the Indian
tourist: you won’t have to go to India if you don’t want to, if you are not ready to face it and to like it. You will love it or hate it, as it will push you beyond your limits, you will feel spoiled and satisfied, or marginalized and frustrated.
In such a complex country, you won’t be surprised discovering people and places that reflect the past of a glorious history, exotic traditions but also wild nature, impressive architectural monuments and vibrant metropolis.
It is the country with the most beautiful festivals, expression of variety and uniqueness.
The best period to visit India
The best period to visit this country is the winter, between October and March, when the weather is friendly. This is only for the south side, as the north is covered in snow during this period. Himalayans can also be climbed in this period, and if you can’t decide where to begin your trip, than the Taj Mahal is the greatest option.
The Taj Mahal is also called the Palace of the Palaces, a beautiful love declaration that lives trough centuries and impresses trough delicacy and details. The palace was build for more than 22 years with 20 000 architects, workers and specialists.
The Taj Mahal is unique because of its proportions, feminism and the ornaments. The marble exterior reflects the golden-pink nuances at sunrise, but also blue-grey at sundown. During the day, the marble has the color white. The Taj Mahal is surrounded with gardens and water, representing the Paradise in the Islamic belief.
Of course, there are also other destinations for you in India, but this is definitely the best place to start.
I would like to talk about one of the latest places I have visited: India…a mystic country, surrounded with a smell of spices, a colorful and noisy field, where you would find a little piece of all the world’s cultures, with their own rituals and traditions. This country is more like a subcontinent; it is a completely incredible world.
